THANK YOU!
A big thank you to our Platinum Sponsors for this week’s fundraiser concert! All funds raised will be used towards our band/art trips this spring.
School spirit is alive and well at Ecole Heritage! Students in grades 9-12 participated in an exciting game of Scattergories to earn points for la guerre des couleurs.Congratulations to team blue for their big win. Team blue is currently in the lead for the trophy. A big thanks to the Student Council for organizing this activity.
What a month!! We have been super busy over in our 1/2 class!! We have had the chance to have a guest speaker come to our class to talk about the First Nations. We are currently learning about different communities in Canada during Social Science. We also had a fun-filled day during our Festival du Voyageur activities!! Then, we got to celebrate our 100th day of school!!! We have also loved having our partner reading time! In Math, we are currently having fun learning all about different addition and subtraction strategies!!! We are so excited for spring to come and are welcoming all the nice weather!!!
We are lucky to have students who help with getting the mail, making deliveries to classes, and even keeping the school clean!
On February 21st, our school celebrated the Festival du Voyageur, immersing students in the vibrant traditions of this historic event. They participated in a variety of engaging outdoor and indoor activities, including music, sports, art, and storytelling. Students also had the chance to broaden their understanding of the rich cultural heritage of Indigenous and Métis peoples through hands-on experiences and meaningful discussions. In summary, the day provided students with an enriching artistic, educational, historical, and cultural experience inspired by the era of the voyageurs.
