The food drive was a huge success! Thank you so much for all of your support!
Mme Michelle's Maternelle class has been learning what it means to pay it forward. The Maternelle students taught our school about the meaning of pay it forward at our monthly assembly. They learnt that doing kind gestures can have a ripple effect and can bring joy to the world around us. We thought it would be nice to light up our school just in time for the Holidays by writing our kind gestures on Christmas lights and decorating our classroom and our school with them.
Hello EHI parents!
As you already know, our winter concerts are fast approaching and our entire school is bubbling with excitement in anticipation for the big day.
Dec. 17- K-6 CONCERT | Dec. 18- 7-12 Band and Choir CONCERT
Just a few details for you:
1) I ask that K-6 students arrive between 6:15-6:20PM on Dec. 17th and meet in their classrooms. The show will then promptly start at 6:30PM.
2) 7-12 music students - please arrive by 6:00PM on Dec. 18th in concert dress with music and instruments. The show will start promptly at 6:30PM.
3) You may retrieve your K-6 children from their classes at the end of the evening concert. We ask that you please stay for the entire show as leaving in the middle of the concert is disruptive for the other spectators and performers alike.
4) The trip parents will be organising a 50-50 draw. Tickets will be available at the door. Profits will go towards the Chicago and Moose Jaw trips. The grad parent committee has also planned some other fundraisers.
5) Students are asked to wear something nice. Any additional costume requirements will be provided by the school. Band and choir students are asked to wear their concert dress.
6) We will also have matinees Dec 17 at 1:45 PM and Dec. 18 at 2:00 PM. Grand-parents, friends and extended family are encouraged to attend this show as the evening performances are very full.

Dariene Cote and her team, Envy, represented Canada at the World Masters Ultimate Championship. Her team ended up 2-8 but they enjoyed some very close games against their competition! Way to represent EHI, Dariene!
Grade 11 and 12 Chemistry students observed double replacement reactions in a lab and used solubility rules in order to predict the formation of precipitates.
In Mme Aliane’s grades 3/4 math class, the students have been exploring the meaning behind the equal sign (=). They used a scale to demonstrate the balance of equal value of both sides of the equal sign in math equations.
The grades 3-6 students have been enjoying floor hockey intramurals!
