The grade 6 students of École Héritage were lucky enough to be able to participate in the indigenous games on March 10th in Starbuck. The students participated in playing games including "Capture the Flag", Lacrosse, as well as a variety of indigenous games like "Windego Tag" and "The Moccasin Game". Cookem Daisey was also there to help us cook bannock on a fire and tell us about the importance of it for the First Nations peoples. An all outdoor day was just what we needed to give us some energy to finish the month of March.
