Founded in 1922, Alpha Chi is a coeducational academic honor society and a member of the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS). It consists of some 300 chapters spread across most of the United States. Inductees are juniors and seniors who place in the top ten percent, as determined by cumulative GPA, from all academic disciplines.
