ABSTRACT
“Arts and Crafts for Everyone” by Olivia Hack is a proposal for children and teachers to get the tools needed for imagination and creativity to evolve. This proposal is to get tools and supplies like paper, crayons, markers, glue, scissors, and colored pencils that are needed for classroom success. Especially in an early childhood classroom for young four and five year old students, these tools help their imagination come alive. Some children do not get the opportunity to use these tools at home, so having them offered in the classroom is essential in helping children that come from lower-income areas. This grant can help children acknowledge their feelings and emotions and help them be aware of the importance of drawing and making projects. Receiving this grant will allow teachers to use these tools to expand their students’ mental growth and open their imagination to try new things. Tools like those listed above can also allow children to have better concentration skills. Teachers today often purchase these tools with their own money so with the help of this grant they will get the tools they need to help make their classroom experience exciting and enjoyable. Overall, creativeness in the classroom will help children be aware and develop these skills and help share their thoughts and feelings on paper with the help of arts and crafts.
