ABSTRACT
Teachers around the world are developing and shaping the future generation of the world. Young learners can be confident, creative, and develop a lifelong love in learning when taking experiences to the next level, in a learning environment outside. Outdoor learning enhances children’s learning experiences by providing children with a high quality, and supportive learning environment. Grant funds will support the overall goal to improve outdoor learning experiences other than just for physical activity. Outside learning can be complex, building upon, and essentially strengthening children’s overall connections to their environment. An outdoor play area is expected to be standard in education. However, outdoor play may be the most neglected aspect of educational services. Outdoor exploring can achieve children’s learning goals in ways such as outside musical wall, art easels, and gardens for children to explore. These observations were made when children were found using these materials brought outside by teachers. Students who normally would not engage in such activities were finally taking part. Having these materials accessible for students will enhance learning experiences outside, and expand on other learning areas besides physical activity.
