Findings and Recommendations

1. The faculty members are encouraged to conduct an individual and or collaborative researches related to hospitality management.

The BSHM Faculty attended the 8th Tourism and Hospitality Annual Research Convention titled: “Research Collaboration and Network; Pathways to Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality” held at Miriam College-Henry Sy Sr. Innovation Center,Quezon City on April 21, 2023

2. Faculty member who is assigned as program research coordinator is suggested to have lesser major designation.

The BSHM Program Research Coordinator was given a total of 6 teaching load equivalent to 40 working hours.

3. A mechanism in monitoring, evaluation, and utilization of faculty and students' research outputs is suggested to be implemented, in which it can be a possible source of an income-generating project of the campus.

The students are required to present a concept to the panel and duly monitored by the subject instructor in research

4. Effectiveness of instructional materials may be considered as a research topic of the faculty members either team or collaborative research.

The student’s research proposal in line with effectiveness of instructional materials was approved. The BSHM faculty in collaboration with BS Criminology has improved instructional process/materials.

5. Forms to be presented that serve as evidence of the paper trail are highly suggested to be signed and filled-up.

The documents was properly signed and approved.
