Purchase of additional electric fans and LED lamps for classrooms and air-condition units for accreditation room, faculty and campus Director’s office;
Provision of separate Campus Director’s Office;
Improvement of GAD and PWD provisions and facilities;
Provision of LCD projector or LED TV;
Installation of School zone signage and construction of road humps for safety and additional pathways to ease mobility;
Purchase additional medical supplies to ensure availability;
Construction of school clinic for medical and dental services.
The Campus may hire school Physician and Nurse or may work to have MOA with the Rural Health Clinic.

Programs/Projects
In the next years five year, PSU Narra’s plan will anchor on the principles of green architecture, cultural preservation and community empowerment towards sustainable development.
The electrical system upgrading to address the unstable electrical supply that have caused inconvenience in the operations of the campus. The project amounts 1,300,000.00 and will be funded from Fund 164.
The upgrading of water system will also be lined up because it also plays an important role in the campus operations. Project cost is expected to be at P1,000,000.00.
Ongoing is the construction of two-storey Administration Building that will house the Director’s Office, Faculty Lounge, Accounting and Finance Office, Registrar’s Office. It will also house the Internet Hub, School Clinic and a Mini Conference Hall. The building was funded out of the LGU Municipal Aid. The total project cost is P10,000,000. 00.
The completion of PSU Narra Mock Hotel including furnishings is also expected to be accomplished in 2020. This is a two storey building with waiting lounge, front desk and two standard bedrooms intended to be the learning venue of the Hospitality Management students. The project is part of the laboratory requirements of Hospitality and Tourism Management Policies, Standards and Guidelines as embodied in CMO No. 62 s.2017. The fund will come from Fund 164. An allocation of P5,000,000.00 is expected to be spent for the project.
The PSU Narra BizHub is a two storey, with a floor area of 320 (40x8) square meter building that will be constructed out of Fund 164. The building will have solar panel roof to generate clean and renewable energy. This will house the office of the the Mindset and Ideation Incubation Center; Commercial spaces (Start Up Incubation Center) where business students can put theories to life; and the PSU Narra Fish and Meat Processing Center (Product Development Incubation Center), GMP-compliant manufacturing facility. It will also house the PSU Narra Center for SME Upgrading and Development, an advocacy center envisioned to be the prime mover of SME Development in Southern Palawan. These facilities are requirement of Policies, Standards and Guidelines for’ Entrepreneurship (CMO 18 s.2017) The project is estimated to cost P20,000,000.00. Implementation is expected to start in 2021.
Zen Garden, Eco Park and the proposed Dr. Teresita L. Salva Park will be developed. This will be complemented by landscaping and beautification which include the installation of Campus Entrance Landmark. These projects are aimed to add to the aesthetic value to the campus. The fund will come from Fund 164 with a proposed funding of P1,000,00.00 which is expected to be started in 2021.
Since gate is an issue to PSU Narra, it is planned to construct a Main Gate with Guard House for PSU Narra. Although the specific location is yet to be decided, funding will come from Fund 164 amounting P1,000,000.00.
A two-storey eight-classroom building with complete furnishing is also expected to commence in 2022. This is anticipation of influx of students because all programs will have complete year levels that time and the renovation of the existing building. Funding will come from Fund 164 in the amount of P15,000,000.00
Acquisition of additional 2 hectare lot adjacent to the campus is also expected to be realized within the next five years. This is to address the issue of limited land space in the existing land area. Half of it will be devoted for the Agriculture Laboratory which is a requirement The acquisition cost is estimated to be at P5,000,000.00. This is planned to be implemented in 2022.
Construction of Two-Storey, with a floor area of 240 square meter, Science Laboratory Building with equipment is planned to be constructed in 2024. The first floor will house the Agriculture Laboratory (Soil Science Laboratory, Crop Science Laboratory, Crop Protection Laboratory and Animal Science Laboratory) with complete equipment which is of vital importance to Agriculture students.The second floor will house the state-of-the-art Computing Science Laboratory which will serve as venue for training BS Computer Science Students. The project is estimated to be at P30, 000,000.00
Internet connectivity of the campus is also planned to be installed in 2023. This aims to make the campus interconnected. This also aims to connect the campus to the main campus. The estimated project cost is P1, 500,000.00.

Palawan State University Narra
The 20,000 square meter Palawan State University Narra Campus is situated at the bosom of the Rice Granary of the province, Narra, Palawan. It was established on February 15, 2002 through the concerted efforts of then Palawan State University President, Dr. Teresita L. Salva; Palawan 2nd District Representative, Hon. Abraham Kahlil B. Mitra and Narra Municipal Mayor, Hon. Lucena D. Demaala. The lot where the campus is presently located was generously donated by the National Irrigation Administration MAlatgao Batang Batang River Irrigation System on December 5, 2007 which is evidenced by Original Certificate of Title No. S-485.
Existing Buildings (as of December 31, 2019)
Mitra Building was constructed in 2006.The current administration building, which was donated by the Parents Teachers Council in 2007. In 2009, EC De Luna Corporation donated a three classroom building. The University was have constructed two buildings, the Business Administration Building (2012) and the Research and Extension Building (2014). In 2015, Mr. Don Javier P. Leoncio constructed a School Canteen adjacent the Admin Building which he donated after his graduation in 2016. The Entrepreneurship Student Center was constructed in 2014 while the Education Students Center was finished in 2016. The Provincial Government of Palawan donated three four-classroom buildings (Gen Ed, Educ Agri and PolSci Crim) in 2013. Cong. Dennis Socrates donated the Multi Purpose Center and the Student Services Building. The LGU constructed the Campus Library while Cong. Eric Abueg donated the Hospitality Management and Tourism Management Buildings. Senator Sonny Angara donated the PSU Narra Convention Center in 2018.
The campus has eight (8) buildings dedicated for instruction. The Entrepreneurship Building; the General Education Building; the Education and Agriculture Building; the PolSci and Criminology Building; Hospitality Management Building and Tourism Management Building; Business Administration Building; the PSU Narra Mock Hotel.
The Research and Extension Office together with the NSTP and Sports Development Office is located at the Research and Extension Building. The building will also house the PSU Narra Meat and Fish Processing Center, a Shared Service Facility of Department of Trade and Industry MIMAROPA in cooperation with the Entrepreneurship Department of PSU Narra.
There are six (6) building that are dedicated to student support activities. There is a Student Services Building; the Multi-Purpose Center (covered gym); the PSU Narra Convention Center; and the Entrepreneurship and Education Student Centers; and the Campus Library.
The Administration Building houses the Director’s Office, Faculty Room, the Assessment Office, Cashier’s Office and Registrar. Adjacent to these offices are the Computer Laboratory and Computer Lecture Rooms. On the right side of the Admin Building is the BS Entrepreneurship Start Up Incubation Center.
Income Generating Complex has a School Canteen operated by a concessionaire and the Production Hub which serves as the managing company of all the IGPs of the campus.
The campus has six concrete comfort rooms that are situated strategically all over the campus.
Of 22 buildings in the campus, 20 are concrete and two, the Entrepreneurship and Education Student Centers are semi concrete.
The lot where the campus is located was donated by NIA MBBRIS. Since the land is at the back portion of NIA Compound and the campus has no access road going to the National Highway, the PSU Community is still utilizing the gate of NIA going to the campus. There are some issued on the opening and closing time that often cause inconvenience to the members of PSU Community.
The campus is situated at the heart of Narra, Palawan. It is one kilometer from the Central Business District of Narra. It takes 10 minute ride from National Highway Corner Osmeña Street to PSU Narra. The campus is also accessible through public buses, jeeps and vans which are the common mode of transportation of students from Northern and Southern part of the municipality.
Narra is a first class municipality with and considered the Rice Granary of Palawan. It is inhabited by 71,066 residents (PSA, 2015). There are five urban barangays and 18 rural barangays. It has 30,000+ hectares of rice field. It is also home to Rasa Island Wildlife Sanctuary. It is also has three Mining Companies and a proposed Coal-Fired Power Plant is expected to rise soon. Aside from farming, other sources of livelihood are employment in private business and government agencies, business activities, and fishing.
Curricular Offerings
PSU Narra has nine (9) curricular offerings namely: BA Political Science, BEED, BS Agriculture, BSBA Marketing Management, BS Computer Science, BS Criminology, BS Entrepreneurship (with specialized tracks on Agribusiness Management, Innovation and Technology and Franchising and Trading), BS Hospitality Management (with specialized tracks on Culinary and Kitchen Management and Resort and Club Management) and BS Tourism Management. Seven program are already Level 1 accredited by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities of the Philippines while two have passed the Preliminary survey Visit. Five of nine programs have been granted Certificate of Program Compliance and four have substantially complied the deficiencies and waiting for the COPC issuance. BS Entrepreneurship is the banner program given its strong presence in the community, strong faculty lineup and extensive linkages. PSU Narra has seat at the National Office of Entrepreneurship Educators Association of the Philippines and Young Entrepreneurs Society Philippines. It has the highest enrolment in MIMAROPA and was identified by CHED MC Center of Excellence Capacity Building Program for Entrepreneurship Education as Lead Campus for MIMAROPA.
According to Commission on Higher Education’s List of Priority Degree Programs for 2019, four of the campus offerings are classified as priority; BS Entrep Agribusiness, BS Agriculture, BEEd, BS Tourism Management and BS Computer Science while BS Entrepreneurship is a Regional Priority. As per MIMAROPA Regional Development Plan 2017-2022, BS Entrepreneurship and BSBA Marketing Management would support the Agenda 9: Expanding Economic Opportunities in Industry and Services through Trabaho and Negosyo. MIMAROPA RDP 2017-2022 Framework areas that can be complemented by the program offerings of the campus are: Ensuring people-centered, clean and efficient governance (BA Political Science), Ensuring Peace and Security (BS Criminology), Promote Technology Adoption (BS Computer Science, BS Entrepreneurship Technology and Innovation Track, BS Agriculture), Stimulate Innovation (BS Entrepreneurship, BS Agriculture, BS Computer Science), Expand Economic Opportunities (BS Tourism Management, BS Hospitality Management, BS Entrepreneurship, BS Agriculture)
The Local Government Unit of Narra aims to be the Agribusiness Capital of Southern Palawan. It is also the Rice Granary of Palawan. BS Agriculture, BS Entrepreneurship (with specialized tracks on Agribusiness Management, Technology and Innovation, and Trading) would support the development framework of the municipality, Narra is also positioning itself to be the Mountain Climbing and Trekking as well as Farm Tourism Destination with its Farm, Forest and Falls collaterals. This will be supported by the BS Agriculture, BS Tourism Management and BS Hospitality Management.
Student Population (1st SEm 2019-2020)
During the first semester of 2019-2020, the campus has 1047 enrollees. BS Entrepreneurship has the highest number of enrollees with 340 or 32.47% while BSBA Marketing Management has the lowest enrollees with 35 or 3.34%.
The campus has 48 faculty members (2nd Sem 2019-2020); 20 are permanent; 12 are job order and 16 are part time lecturers. The campus also employs 9 administrative staff personnel and 6 watchmen.
