Findings and Recommendations

1. Continuing education for professional development of faculty members in pursuance of graduate degree programs (MS/Ph.D.) in reputable institutions is highly suggested and to address professional in-breeding.

2. Hiring of Additional and highly competent faculty members in the field of plant pathology, entomology, soil science is suggested to handle the specialized field/subjects.

3. Additional Core and General Education faculty members were added to the roster of PSU Narra Faculty

4. Agriculture faculty may search for membership in professional organizations aligned their field of specialization to widen their horizon, and competence

5. The course syllabi may be enhanced and be updated following the outcomes-based education and integration of gender and development.

6. The faculty may conduct review classes or the integration of review classes in the schedule for fourth year graduating students is highly suggested.

7. The university may implement intervention/strategies to improve Licensure Examination for Agriculturist performance. 

8. De-Loading of faculty members is suggested to come-up and implement quality research and extension program. 

9. The university may come-up in service training to faculty members related to packaging of quality proposal that is aligned to research and extension agenda of the Provincial and regional level for submission to funding agencies like DOST-PCAARRD, DA, DA-BAR, and others.

10. Instructional materials developed by the faculty members may be reviewed by the University Instructional Materials Review Committee and apply for copyright/patent to claim ownership. 

11. Technologies generated through research should reach the community through extension work and involvement of students is suggested in order to visualize the impact of extension activities in sustainable livelihood and development of the community.

12. Housing for the faculty members especially to those residing outside the municipality of Narra may be given attention for easier accessibility to the University and for safety and security of faculty members 

13. Additional incentives to faculty members with exemplary performance is suggested to motivate/encourage them to work more.

14. Publication of faculty research outputs in ISI, refereed, CHED accredited journals is limited

15. Availability of laboratory, lecture manuals and journals for easier teaching and learning are not evident. 

16. Copyright of the Faculty Manual is highly suggested to claim ownership by the University.

17. Following the standard faculty-student ratio is recommended. 

18 Upgrading /procurement/establishment of state of the art facilities for efficient and effective teaching and learning process is highly recommended.

19. Research output by faculty members may be present in  National or International Conferences, symposium and fora to widely disseminate the technology
