In this project, student's designed a game that uses force and motion. They investigated the interactions between the equipment and players involved in their game. Then, they taught their game to the class, explaining the rules and strategies for play from the lens of forces and motion. The final product was a presentation to share with the class.
Student's read science fiction classic Ender's Game. While reading students learned about character development and different storytelling devices.
Students were tasked with creating an alternative storyline based on the characters and plot for the book Ender's Game. Students applied their knowledge of character development and storytelling devices to engage the reader.
In History, we studied Westward Expansion in the United States and discussed the impacts it had on different groups being forced to move or how different groups were impacted through the United States acquiring more land a a new nation.
Students chose a current issue in the U.S. and researched the plans for addressing/ solving the issue and if the effects or impacts of solving the issue has matched the original plans for solving the problem.

We cooperated with PE and Science on this project. The students ran three different distances and we recorded their time for each distance. We used a table to scale each distance and time to compare their times and found the slope (the speed) of each of the proportional relationships. Students made graphs, tables and equations to model these experiments and examined mathematical concepts of slope.
