Souper Bowl

The Super Bowl (LVII/57) is coming up this Sunday, with the contenders being The Chiefs and The Eagles, but the question is, who are you rooting for? Both teams have a record of 16-3 and it will be a close game. 

Show your support by donating canned food (soup cans are preferred) to the table in front of the main office. This initiative, taken by PLOP, is a donation that goes towards an organization called MEND, which stands for Meeting Essential Needs with Dignity. They collect food and personal care products for people with food insecurity in Essex County and even deliver some products to homes. They also advocate for improved quality of life for those who don’t have a voice. They welcome volunteers, and you can see all the wonderful work they do as a group by clicking this link. So do make sure to support their cause by donating some cans.

Millburn’s favorite team will be determined on February 10th when all the soup cans are counted. Be sure to turn your TV on at 6:30 pm, February 10th, and root for your favorite team!
