Student - Techs - Educate - And - Mentor + Machine And Software Helpers

With double the group, comes double the leadership. These two groups work hand-in-hand to help the school through its technological improvements and STEM-related expertise. STEAM focuses on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to create educational challenges for the students of Millburn Middle School to participate in. A current member of the group, Cheri Li, stated that “her passion for science and helping others” pointed her towards the direction of the STEAM peer leader group in the beginning of the year.  Past projects include creating activities for children on “Bring-Your-Child-to-Work Day” and study sessions/mentoring. MASH peer leaders display their skills with technology by providing the school with their technical support of fixing various devices and creating more resources for easy-access websites. Especially in classrooms, these peer leaders can be relied upon for their efforts on assisting teachers in a variety of technological ways. As the most scientific peer leader group combination, STEAM and MASH power their way through school with their knowledge of arts and sciences.
