BOLT is a Peer Leader group who is focused on donating to charity and helping special needs students right here in MMS. Almost everyone who was in the group SHOK, in seventh grade, is in BOLT in eighth. 

BOLT works with special needs kids in the RWA/ABA groups in MMS. Students in BOLT devote some time to their day to be in gym and electives with those students. BOLT works with them during the Bagel Cart, Unified Basketball, and more! 

On February 7th, BOLT, SPORT, and SHOK went to Skylands Arena to attend the NJ winter Special Olympics. They are going with the ABA/RWA groups. 

As a current BOLT peer leader, my experience has been so incredible. Every C day, I go to the ABA/RWA groups’ gym class and help out. I’ve packed food for homeless shelters, gone to the ABA/RWA lunches, and so much more. I’m so glad I am in BOLT this year! 

In conclusion, BOLT is a very unique Peer Leader group that is caring and fun!
