School Library Scavenger Hunt
April 12, 2023
April is a busy month full of holidays, including School Library Month. To encourage celebrating the importance and purpose of school libraries, librarians plan activities to engage students and teach them their significance. The AASL, or the American Association of School Libraries, is the organization that leads this celebration.
In MMS, the way our librarian, Mr. Gross, is celebrating the occasion is with a Scavenger Hunt on Wednesday, April 26th. This scavenger hunt is literary-themed and students from 6th to 8th grade can come and test their knowledge on the different topics the hunt brings forth. It will be occurring during both Study Hall A and Study Hall B so if anyone is interested in signing up, doing so with a friend to test your literary knowledge together would be a great way to celebrate School Library Month.
