ADVANCED FITNESS - 06134 - 1/2 CREDIT (EOD)

Prerequisite:  Open to students in grades 11-12

Credit:  Elective

Description:  This course is designed to provide students with an opportunity to develop fitness through weight training, circuit training, plyometrics, core strengthening, speed, agility, and flexibility training.  Students will be exposed to a variety of weight training and fitness programs that will enable them to discover which are best suited to their individual needs.  Students will also be educated in proper lifting techniques, safety factors, and muscle development in order to help them develop their own fitness program.
