College Engineering Essentials (EES)

COLLEGE ENGINEERING ESSENTIALS - 07000 - 1 CREDIT

Prerequisite:  None

Credit: Art or General Elective

Description: This project-based course introduces students to engineering concepts that are applicable across multiple engineering disciplines.  Design project examples include robotics, automation & coding, mini electric vehicles, 3-D modeling and printing, bridges and towers.  Students are placed into friendly competition with teams in their section and other sections as they execute multiple design cycles to improve their solutions.  Students can qualify for three transferable elective credits from Rochester Institute of Technology by passing a Project Lead The Way End of Course Assessment.
