The Mathematics Department offers courses to meet all aspects of mathematics study and applications, depending upon the abilities and needs of the student.  The goal of the Mathematics Department is to have students develop an understanding and application of our numeric system as it applies to a variety of real life situations.

Technology: The mathematics department encourages all students to purchase TI-84 graphing calculators upon entering high school.  Teachers will incorporate technology-based labs into their lessons whenever possible.  Graphing calculators are required for most courses, Regents Examinations,and AP Examinations in mathematics.

Please take note of the course pathways that students have access to throughout grades 10-12.  Although this represents options for students to consider, students have the ability to "cross over" into an honors sequence, an AP/College sequence and back into a regents sequence.
