Prerequisite:  Open to students in grades 9-12

Credit: Music

Description:  Chorus is a vocal ensemble open to all MHS students.  Students will learn and perform a variety of choral music, from the standard repertoire through modern styles including musical theater, jazz, and pop arrangements.  Students will learn music literacy and ensemble skills such as harmonizing, blending, and improvising.  Students will also practice and develop healthy and flexible vocal techniques through posture, breathing, diction, and resonant tone production.  The MHS Chorus performs throughout each school year in numerous school and community events.
