Description:  In Principles of Engineering, students explore a range of engineering topics, including mechanisms, materials, structures, coding, robotics and automation, and motion. You will work like an engineer to apply an engineering design process to solve challenging problems, document your solutions, and communicate your work. The transportable skills you practice in this course—such as communication, collaboration, and process thinking—can be applied to your other courses and your future career!  Students can qualify for three transferable elective credits from Rochester Institute of Technology by passing a Project Lead The Way End of Course Assessment.
