Spring Break Ideas

Spring break is often a time for relaxation and lounging when the weather is warmer than in winter. But what do you do when you have too much time on your hands? This is one of the most common issues students face during spring break. Without taking very expensive vacations, how can you spend your spring break?
You don't have to travel across the world to find entertainment; in fact, staying in your town can offer many opportunities for fun. Visiting a local park can inspire a variety of activities. You can go bike riding with friends, use the outdoor gym equipment, or go on a color walk. A color walk helps you focus on your environment while you walk: pick a specific color and notice or collect items of that color, such as anything purple. Going to a field or court with friends to play pickup sports like soccer, football, or basketball is a good way to stay active. Choosing a less-popular sport like pickleball or badminton is a fun way to try something new. All of these are great options when the weather is nice—either to hang out with friends or to spend time alone enjoying nature.
If the weather isn't nice, try budget-friendly indoor activities: work on a puzzle, bake, or use the time to try a new hobby. Other options (if you want to spend money) include going to a trampoline park, taking a day trip or weekend trip, or visiting the mall. However you decide to spend your spring break, it's important to use it as an opportunity to try new things!
