On February 27 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the David Brearley High School cafeteria will come alive as the David Brearley Black Cultural Society presents its third annual "Black Cultural Celebration" — an evening dedicated to honoring Black history, culture, and excellence. Open to all community members, the event promises an exciting night of history, music, and delicious food, bringing students, families, faculty, and residents together in celebration.
Throughout the event, students will present on influential African American individuals who have shaped history through leadership, innovation, the arts, and more, showing the lasting impact their contributions have had on society. In addition to student presentations, guest speakers will be in attendance to share their insights and experiences. The celebration will also feature vibrant entertainment, including performances by the Brearley dancers and musical selections that showcase Black culture. By including multiple elements in the program, the Black Cultural Celebration aims to foster appreciation and understanding across the entire Brearley community. All are welcome to attend this meaningful and festive evening as David Brearley continues its tradition of celebrating diversity and honoring the voices and achievements that have shaped our world.
