This courses will emphasize writing style and technique as well as production values and organization. In Journalism Advanced students demonstrate their knowledge and skill by leading and mentoring peers in: creating items that are newsworthy; upholding high standards and press responsibility; further developing skills in writing and editing stories, headlines, and captions; and support the principles of production design, layout, and printing. Journalism Advanced students focus on editing and newsroom management. These students may create a portfolio which they can use towards a CTE Capstone.
