Illustration Beginning is an introduction course for development in visual communication where students may work with various processes for illustrative design. This course may explore character design, layout, and story development, as well as a basic understanding of animation related vocabulary and careers. Additionally, this course incorporates the study of illustration from a historical, social, and cultural viewpoint as a source of knowledge and inspiration, as well as an exploration of illustration careers.
