Orchestra Strings is designed to challenge and develop upper-level students’ abilities to play string instruments, covering a variety of string and orchestral literature styles. Performances occur each season throughout the year on campus and at music festivals/contests. Enrollment is not limited; however, auditions scheduled with the music director are required for entry and for chair placement. Auditions take place in the spring semester for the following year. Students in this advanced ensemble are expected to audition for the Jeffco All-County Honor Orchestra.
