This full year course reviews and extends algebraic concepts for students that have already taken Algebra 2. This class will prepare students for a college Calculus Sequence. All students should be able to complete fundamental problem solving using: Function Notation and Transformations, Linear Equations graphing and solving, Quadratic equations graphs and solutions, Polynomial graphs and Fundamental Theorem of Algebra, Rational Function graphs, Exponential and Logarithmic graphs and equation solving. Systems of linear equations will be used to solve applications. All students will be proficient at data analysis and graphical problem solving using the TI-84 Plus CE Calculator which is required for this course.
