Intermediate Weight Training helps students to go beyond the normal work-out. Students are expected to have completed the basic Weight Training class and can demonstrate knowledge of the basics of resistance training techniques and design an individual weight training program which includes principles of nutrition. Students develop knowledge and skills with free weights and universal stations while emphasizing safety and proper body positioning; they may include other components such as anatomy and conditioning.
