Wind Ensemble is designed to promote more advanced techniques for playing brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments and cover a variety of band literature styles, primarily for concert performances. Performances occur each season throughout the year on campus and at music festivals/contests. Enrollment is limited while auditions scheduled with music director are also required for chair placement. This course is rigorous and is recommended to students with previous band experience. Students in this advanced ensemble are expected to audition for the Jeffco All-County honor groups.
