Fitness/Conditioning Activity courses emphasize conditioning activities that help develop muscular strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular fitness. Students develop a personalized fitness plan which includes principles of nutrition. In addition, this course is designed to allow students the opportunity to develop physical fitness through a variety of FUN activities such as dance, step aerobics, cardio-kickboxing, individual sports, yoga and weight training. This course will focus on students achieving and maintaining a level of physical fitness for health and performance while demonstrating knowledge of fitness concepts and strategies.
