Happy Friday!
🎠Scottish Opera
P3 and P4 children had the opportunity to watch a live performance of "The Giant’s Harp", which brought to life the enchanting history of harps. The children loved the experience.
🏫 P7 Transition
Our P7 children had a fantastic time visiting Inverness High School as part of their transition. They took part in a range of fun and interactive activities set up by different departments, giving them a taste of life at their new school. The children really enjoyed exploring, learning, and getting ready for the exciting next step in their school journey!
✨  AssemblyÂ
Today, we held a Good News Assembly where children received their certificates. Well done to all our pupils!
🩺 Medical Update
We are currently reviewing our medical records. If your child has asthma and you have not yet informed the school, please visit the office to complete a medical form. Families are also asked to bring in updated asthma plans as soon as possible.
🌟 Children in NeedÂ
We will be taking part in Children in Need fundraising on Friday, 14th November. Children are invited to come dressed as superheroes or wear something spotty or yellow to show their support.
Families are welcome to bring a donation to school — every little bit makes a big difference!
🎉 Celebrating Wider Achievements 🎉Â
At Central School, we love to celebrate the amazing achievements our pupils accomplish outside the classroom.
Wider achievements can include anything your child is proud of — for example: moving up a level in swimming, earning a new badge at Brownies, receiving a special certificate, learning to ride a bike, raising money for charity, or performing in front of an audience.
If your child has achieved something special recently, use the form below to tell us about it.

This supports the UNCRC Articles 12, 29 and 31 — recognising children’s right to be heard, to develop their talents and abilities to the full, and to take part in activities they enjoy.Â

🏠Home School Partnership Learning
Next week our focus is on the theme: “Challenge Yourself to 25” as part of our support for the BBC Children in Need campaign. You can find lots of ideas here: https://www.bbcchildreninneed.co.uk/fundraising/challenge-yourself-to-25-inspiration/
We invite every family to take part together at home.Â
Here are some activities you might like to try:
25 jumping-jacks, 25 free-draw pictures or 25 minutes reading together
Do 5 km together across the week (walking, scooting or running)Â
Bake something together and share it
Try a quiz of 25 questions as a family.
Talk about why you chose your challenge and how it makes you feel to do something together that helps others.
Please take photos of your challenge-in-action at home and submit them to Mrs Guzowski so we can celebrate everyone’s efforts in next week’s newsletter!
By joining in the “Challenge Yourself to 25” activities, children can share their ideas, take action, and help others (Articles 12 & 29). Together, by supporting BBC Children in Need, we’re helping to make sure every child can grow up safe, healthy, and cared for (Articles 6 & 27).Â
