Happy Friday
As we approach the final week of the school year, excitement is building for all the special events still to come. With the summer holidays fast approaching, we’re making the most of every moment together - including today’s fantastic whole-school summer disco, which had everyone dancing and celebrating in style.
A Scoop of Celebration! 🍦
Today, our children were treated to a delicious ice cream surprise — a sweet thank you for their efforts in helping the school achieve both the Rights Respecting Schools Silver Award and the Reading Schools Award.
Their dedication, teamwork, and enthusiasm have truly been the cherry on top of these fantastic accomplishments. And what better way to celebrate than with a scoop of well-earned ice cream? Well done to all our pupils — you’ve truly earned it!
🚜 Farm-tastic Fun at FarmNess!
Our nursery children had a fantastic day at FarmNess, exploring a giant sandpit and riding sit-on diggers. They loved pedalling around on tractors, playing imaginative games on Bale Mountain, and meeting the animals — including guinea pigs, rabbits, alpacas, and goats.
🎧 P7 Leavers' Disco
Our Primary 7 pupils celebrated the end of their primary school journey in unforgettable style at their leavers’ disco. With a professional DJ at the decks — no Spotify playlists in sight. The fun didn’t stop there. A mountain of pizza kept everyone well-fed, and fizzy drinks provided the fuel for non-stop energy. Disco games added an extra layer of excitement, bringing plenty of laughter and friendly competition throughout the night. It was a fantastic way to mark the end of an era — a night full of music, memories, and joy that our P7s will remember for years to come.

🏠 Home School Partnership Learning: End-of-Year Family Time
To mark the end of the school year, why not create a “Memory Jar” together as a family? Each person can write down their favourite moments, proudest achievements, funniest memories, or new things they learned this year on little slips of paper. Pop them into a decorated jar, then open and read them together — a lovely way to reflect and celebrate at how far everyone’s come.
