Happy Friday
The children have also been making the most of the sunny days on the playground, and it’s been great to see them playing, laughing, and spending time with friends. With the long weekend ahead, we hope our children enjoy a well-earned rest and time with family.
🎵 ELC, P1 and P2 Visit Eden Court for Yoyo the Little Auk
Our youngest learners had a magical trip to Eden Court to take part in Yoyo the Little Auk, a musical adventure by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. Children enjoyed live music, singing, and storytelling, exploring the charming world of Yoyo and the Little Auk. The children were introduced to all the instruments in the orchestra and learned about the different sounds they make.
📘 School Improvement Plan
We held our first reading moderation session, where teachers had the opportunity to network with other ASG colleagues. They were given a set of reflective questions focusing on the five components of reading, as well as reading for pleasure, Reading Schools, and approaches to teaching and assessment. Through these sessions, we hope to make reading even more enjoyable and meaningful for our children, ensuring they are supported and challenged at every stage of their learning.
📅 Parents’ Evening
We will be holding Parents’ Evening sessions on Tuesday 23rd September and Thursday 25th September.
Please return your reply slip as soon as possible to confirm your preferred date.
