Hello Everyone,
Football Success
Well done to the Central/St Joseph Football team who had their first match of the season last Saturday. They played against Dalneigh Primary and won 4-3! Huge congratulations and great team play.
In-Service Days
Monday and Tuesday were very positive days for all staff. Over the two days we focused on the School Improvement Priorities of learning, teaching and assessment.
House Captains
All P1-7 children had an opportunity to listen to speeches from P7 children who wished to stand for the positions of captain and vice captain of our school houses. Votes were cast and congratulations go to;

Ness – Elena and Artem
Urquhart- Kinga and James
Fantastic Weather
We have all thoroughly enjoyed the lovely weather, with reading and P.E classes taking place outside.
Quality Assurance
As part of our School Improvement Plan senior management enjoyed visiting classes this week, to observe learning.
Parents Evenings
Next week we will be holding parents evenings on Tuesday and Thursday in the hall. All families received a slip last week and those who have returned the slip should have received a time allocation from the Class Teacher. We look forward to welcoming you.

Kidical Mass
The Kidical Mass event is this weekend. Families are invited on a bike ride to enjoy the new cycle lane on Riverside way. All abilities are welcome. The attached flier provides more information
Disc Golf
Following on from the successful disc golf taster sessions there is now the opportunity to attend an after-school disc golf club at Torvean Park. The details are as follows;
Activity: P4-7 Disc Golf
Venue: Torvean Park (Glenurquhart Road, Inverness, IV3)
Dates: Thursday 19th & 26th September & 3rd October
Time: 4:00-5:00pm
