Happy Friday everyone.

It was lovely to welcome all the children back on Monday albeit a cold start to our new term.

We appreciate your understanding when we need to close the school for bad weather.  On such occasions safety of pupils and staff is the key priority.

Many children enjoyed playing with the snow in the playground today 😊

Staffing

We welcome Miss Hardie to our out of school club.  She has already started getting to know the children well.

Enrolment

Enrolment week for Primary One 2025/2026 takes place on Monday 27th January to Friday 31st January. Please complete the online form. 

If you need any help, you can contact Miss Harrison and Miss Balfour in the school office.

Swimming

P6 will finish their block of swimming on Monday 27th January.

P5’s block of swimming starts on Monday 3rd February.

Overviews of learning

Class teachers will post this term’s overview of learning by the end of next week.

Pizza Express

P6 will visit Pizza Express on Thursday 16th February.  They are looking forward to this 😊

Parent’s evenings

Parent’s evenings will be held on Tuesday 11th of February from 3.30 to 6.00pm and Thursday 13th February from 5.30 to 8pm.

We will send our appointment forms for you to complete and return nearer the time.

February break

School will be closed to all pupils on Monday 17th  to 19th February 2025 for the February break and in-service training for staff.  We re-open to pupils on Thursday 20th February.

Primary 7 assembly

Mrs Cameron will confirm the time for P7 assembly in the afternoon of Wednesday 22nd  on google classroom.  All P7 parents are welcome to attend.
