Happy Friday folks,

We have all enjoyed a positive week at school.

Assembly

Primary Seven delivered a super assembly on Robert Burns.  The quiz at the end was well received by all the children.  Thanks to the parents who were able to join us for this event.

Scottish Ballet 

Our younger classes all had a wonderful session with the team from Scottish Ballet on Thursday this week.  They experienced movement to the music from The Nutcracker.  The children really enjoyed this opportunity with a talented team. 

School Trips

We are beginning to plan school trips for the better weather.  We will post details once we have confirmed arrangements.

Rights Respecting Schools Award

We achieved our Bronze Award for Rights Respecting Schools in May 2023.  We are working our way towards our silver accreditation this year.

The Rights Respecting Schools Group (The Triple R Group) have been working on sharing key messages about Rights.  The Triple R Group have created videos to share the ABCDE messages of rights, these were posted on Google Classrooms.  It would be great if you could watch and discuss these at home.
