Parents Evenings 

It was lovely to see so many families at our parent evenings.  We really enjoy sharing children’s progress in their learning.

Kodaly

P3 pupils started a block of three Kodaly sessions.  This is a great opportunity for P3 pupils across the two classes to come together and learn through music.  There will be two more three block sessions for P3 in Term 3 and Term 4.

The Reading Challenge

Mrs Cameron, Mr McRoberts and P7 have introduced a whole school reading challenge .  This challenge has three accreditation levels designed to champion building and sustaining a reading culture within schools. The programme is supported by Scottish Book Trust.

Baxters 5k

Children throughout the school have been offered the opportunity to take part in the Baxters 5k this weekend.  Thank you to Mrs Gibb and Miss Gardner for organising.  Thank you to Miss Gardner, Mrs Tracey and Mrs Gut who will be attending on the day.  Details have been sent direct to participants.  Good luck.

Parent Council Meeting 

The next parent council meeting is being held at 3:30pm on 4th October in the community room (next to the hall).  This is an open invitation.  The parent council works with the school to build strong positive relationships.  We look forward to seeing as many parents/carers as possible attending. 

End of Term Dates 

School finishes at usual times on 11th October and re-opens at 9am on 28th October 2024.
