Happy Friday!
It was lovely to see everyone come together and enjoy the spirit of Sports Day. Unfortunately, the weather had its own plans to participate in the event. We apologise for any races missed due to the downpour!
🍎 Health Week
On Tuesday P4-7 pupils took part in the run at Torvean Park. The children gave it their all, showing great stamina, positive attitudes, and true team spirit throughout the course.
On Wednesday, the children took part in a variety of learning activities focused on healthy lifestyles organised by class teachers. These activities helped pupils explore the importance of nutrition, exercise, mental wellbeing, and making positive choices.
On Thursday, the children had a fantastic time taking part in the Obstacle Course organised and led by our House Captains and Vice Captains. The course offered a fun mix of physical challenges, and our pupils tackled it with energy, determination, and lots of smiles. A big well done to everyone involved!
⚠️ Important Reminder
If there is a disagreement or issue between children, please contact the class teacher to seek advice or a solution rather than approaching another child or parent directly. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
As part of our focus on health and wellbeing, we’d love families to take part in a fun at-home activity that encourages running and being active together.Â
Relay Race at Home – Set up a short course in your garden or local park. Take turns running while passing a baton (or a rolled-up sock!). Time each round and see if your team can beat its best time!
Obstacle Run Challenge – Create a mini obstacle course using household items like cushions, cones, or toys. Run, jump, and weave through the course — it’s a great way to build agility and have a laugh together!
