Happy Friday everyone,
We finished our first term on Friday with a super assembly delivered by Primary 5, Show Racism the Red Card.
Well done everyone. Special thanks to our P5 parents who were able to make it along to see the assembly.
Throughout the year each class will take responsibility for delivering an assembly to which parents will be invited.
We say goodbye to Yvonne who had her last day on Friday in our out of school club. We thank her for her superb contribution to our school community. This post is now advertised on my job Scotland and we will advise you when the post is filled.
Teddy Bear’s Picnic
Our nursery children and their families loved their Teddy Bear’s Picnic on Wednesday. It was fabulous to see some parents bringing their teddies as well 😊
Parent Council
We had a positive meeting last week with our parent council. We discussed organising a number of events for the coming months. Thanks to Mr and Mrs Wozniak and Primary 6 for helping to organise hot chocolate and doughnuts today. 😊
On Friday 1st November we will host a seasonal disco in the afternoon for all pupils.
We would like to encourage all parents to come and join us at our meetings, as we work together to make improvements to our school community.
School Improvement
Please find attached our school improvement plan.
This details our priorities for the school year.
Next term our Friday fortnightly groups will work together as we strive for our Rights Respecting Schools Silver Award.
We thank you for your continued support and wish you a lovely restful October break.
