Happy Friday Everyone!
We have really enjoyed the beautiful weather this week. Please remember to send your children with water bottles, sunhats, and suncream to keep them safe and comfortable during these sunny days.
🌺 VE Day
This week, all classes learned about VE Day as part of the national commemorations. The children explored the significance of Victory in Europe Day, learned about life during World War II, and reflected on the importance of peace and unity.

We are looking forward to welcoming all our new P1's into school in August. Parents/carers of new P1 children are invited to attend an information session in the infant area on 5th June at 3.15 pm.

🏠 Home School Partnership Learning
At Central, we know that being active is a big part of keeping healthy and happy. That's why we are encouraging families to join us in promoting fitness at home! Regular physical activity not only supports children's physical health but also boosts their concentration and confidence in school. By working together, we can help our children build healthy habits that will last a lifetime.
Here are a few activities you and your family can enjoy together:
Go for a brisk walk, scoot, or cycle around the local park
Create a mini obstacle course in the garden or living room
Do a family yoga or stretching session (plenty of free videos online!)
Play a game of football, catch, or tag
Parent Council
The next parent council meeting is being held at 09:15 on 30th May in the community room (next to the hall). This is an open invitation. The parent council works with the school to build strong positive relationships. We look forward to seeing as many parents/carers as possible attending.
Have a restful weekend
