Learning Video Production the Fun Way !

In partnership with the acting for the camera class, the students will learn how to script, shoot, edit and promote videos.

Students would learn all the fundamentals of video production, from concept to final product :

• Pre-production : scripting and storyboarding

• Production : Lighting, filming and directing

• Post-production : Editing, sound and FX

They would work in small groups and create several video projects within the year, learning many techniques along the way, in a hands-on manner.

They will use basic equipment (for ex their own phone, so they can produce video at home if they want) as well as more advanced equipment. 

Several short films will be created and shown at the end of the year.

Apprendre la production vidéo de manière ludique !

En partenariat avec la classe d'art dramatique les élèves apprendront à scénariser, tourner, monter et promouvoir des vidéos.

Les élèves apprendront tous les principes fondamentaux de la production vidéo, du concept au produit final :

• Pré-production : scénarisation et storyboarding

• Production : Éclairage, tournage et réalisation

• Post-production : Montage, son et effets spéciaux

Ils travailleront en petits groupes et créeront plusieurs projets vidéo au cours de l'année, en apprenant de nombreuses techniques en cours de route, de manière pratique.

Ils utiliseront un équipement de base (par exemple leur propre téléphone, afin de pouvoir produire des vidéos chez eux s'ils le souhaitent) ainsi qu'un équipement plus avancé.
