Warning: The same activity can be offered as both a workshop and an option. The difference is that one will count towards the school report (option) and the other will not. However, the commitment remains annual for both.
Options (part of French curriculum, not managed by ECA)
Options can happen during or after school day.
The options are counting for the school report and diploma (Brevet, BAC).

What are the difficulty indicators for each activity?
The ECA has 4 difficulty indicators for sport activity (all non sport activity are labelled as Leisure), here is the explanation for each level:
Beginner ♦♦ : As the title said, this session is meant for complete beginner, only ECA Swimming have a beginner session.
Leisure ♦ : Leisure is the most common level, it is the introductory level for every sport. It is also the level used for the activity who only have 1 session by week.
Performance ♦ : Performance regroup all the sessions for the students who already have a good background in the specific sport. The students participating in "performance" session will be given priority for the various competitions.
Expert ♦ : "Expert" are for the top athletes in football, volleyball and climbing. The "expert" sessions in soccer and volleyball are locked in Eduka, the selection will be made by the coach and registration will be confirmed by email.
What is a PROZAP ?
Some activities involve a PROZAP.
A PROZAP is a competition bringing together various schools of the AEFE network in Asia-Pacific. Some PROZAPs take place in Singapore, but it is sometimes necessary for students to travel for 3 to 5 days to another city, at an additional cost to the families concerned (max $1,200 per student and trip).
Selection is made by the coaches.
What if quota is exceeded in an activity?
For Arts, Culture and Sciences ECA, the registration system work on a first come first serve basis.
For sport ECA, if the number of students exceeds the quota, a selection will be made by the coach at the end of the 2-week test.
For climbing, students not selected for the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday sessions will automatically be transferred to one of the Friday or Saturday sessions. If we exceed the quota for the Friday and/or Saturday sessions, a draw will be held.
