French Drama

French drama classes are perfect for students who want to explore their creativity and imagination, boost their self-confidence, make new friends in a close-knit group, and have fun playing lots of different characters!

The school year will be divided into three parts:

Firstly, we'll be learning the basics of acting: working on the voice (how to breathe properly, express yourself clearly and project your voice), learning to use the body and express intentions, and understanding the basics of directing. 

These skills will be learned through group games and exercises.

We will then work on a first stage project with short texts, in solo or duo. This will allow us to familiarise ourselves with learning a text and putting it into play.

Finally, to celebrate the end of the school year, we'll be creating a more ambitious show, complete with costumes and sets, which we hope will amaze our audience!

Note: the classes require a bit of work at home (learning the text, researching information about the characters and stories) and active participation in class to ensure the quality of the group work.

Parents will be invited to the show in May/June and the open house at the last session.
