Flight 93 Field Trip

On October 20, juniors and seniors took a day trip to the Flight 93 Memorial in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. Students were put in the hands of a tour guide, who provided tons of information to the students about the tragic day of 9/11. The students also got to see the real sight where the plane crashed, and saw the "Wall of Names," which displayed the final resting place of the crew members and passengers on the flight that morning.

"The trip put a lot of perspective into what happened in those final moments before the plane crashed." Junior Lilly Freed said. " It helped me put a lot of perspective on the human aspect of everything; knowing the people's names and who they were."

"The trip was really hard to experience." Senior Anthony Rowland added. " You realize a lot of people died on that day and how it affected their lives and other people. The tour guide was very informative and gave lots of detail about that day."
