Mr.Garritano

Mr. Garritano is one of the Media teachers at Homer-Center High School. He grew up in Indiana, PA. He went to college for Communications Media so that he could do play-by-play sports broadcasting. He decided to be a teacher after he did an internship and got some experience on what it was like to teach. “...I kinda got a feel for what it was like to be the teacher, and I really enjoyed working with the students when I did have the opportunity to do that.” After that he decided to get certified to become a teacher. He originally taught at Johnstown, but came to HC because it was local and he was able to teach media. “It’s been a very pleasant experience here. The staff are great and friendly, the kids are pretty well behaved, and I enjoy teaching here.”
