Mr. Worchester

By Riley Hartnett

Mr.Worcester has been a security officer here at Homer enter for Four years. When asked if he had always wanted to be a security officer he stated that there was no way he could have as security officers at Homer didn't exist until four years ago. But he did state that he has always been interested in law enforcement. In the past Worcester has worked in the state police and has been an adult probation officer. He has a wife, Lisa, and two daughters, Rachel (25), and Emily (22).

His Favorite part of the job is interacting with the students. And when asked what his least favorite part of the job was he first stated that he didn't have one but then rethought his answer and said working in the cold. Some of his daily duties as a security officer include checking the doors inside and outside the building, checking students bags, and checking the security cameras before, during, and after school hours. Mr.Worcester lives across from the football fields and has a short commute to the school. He works security at both the Elementary school and the High school. He thankfully has no plans to retire soon. When asked if he wanted to add anything he stated, “It's a great day to be Great.” And this is a quote every person from age one to one hundred needs to hear.
