Isaac Marshall

By: Chevelle Kenney

Isaac Marshall is a senior at Homer-Center Jr/Sr High, who is very involved in our music program.

Isaac has been involved in our fall musicals for 5 years now, his favorite being The Little Mermaid. He enjoyed his part in the 2022 production, as he played Prince Eric, the male lead. His favorite class offered here at Homer is chorus. “It’s nice to use my talents” he states. Isaac has been accepted to participate in the District 6 Region Chorus during both his junior and senior years, and was accepted to participate in the Pennsylvania State Chorus, placing 4th out of the 30 tenor II competitors.

His plans for the future are to enroll in IUP’s commercial music program, if they add it in time. He desires to work in the music technology industry. Isaac plans to audition for the IUP “The Legend” Marching Band in the fall, playing trumpet.

Before coming to Homer-Center, Isaac was enrolled at St. Bernard’s Regional Catholic School. The school, however, does not offer high school classes, meaning that Isaac had to transfer to Homer-Center to continue his education. Moving to a new school is hard, but Isaac commended the band program at Homer for making the transition easier. He has been a part of the school’s marching band since 8th grade, and so he knew a handful of students when he moved.
