Lilly Freed

Lilly Freed is a junior here at Homer-Center High School. Lilly’s family recently bought the well-known business “Simply the Best'' kettle corn truck. This has been in the process for the past couple months, and became final this past week. She and her family have wanted to own a food truck for a while, and their goal has finally come true. She was at the football game on Friday and it was Lilly's first time making kettle corn. She stated that it is, “very nerve wracking, to know that your family is depending on it,” but she was also excited to take over the business. She is excited to, “have something new in her family to eventually grow and expand.” Lilly and her family plan to expand the business and are excited to do so.
