Outside of school, I enjoy crocheting, and playing video games. I plan on going into the psychology field after high school to do research and services.

Alexis Mitchell

Hello my name is Alexis Mitchell or you can call me Lexi. I am a 11th grade student and I am a part of the HC Observer because I enjoy writing about stuff going on around the school. I am a cheerleader at the school and I am in a bunch of clubs. Some include student council, book club, and interact club. My hobbies include reading, watching shows and movies, doing anything artsy, being outside with family or friends and I do a lot of sleeping. My two favorite seasons are fall and summer because I love the heat but I also look forward to the fall weather when its just starting to get cold and the leaves are falling. I would put down my favorite food but I don’t have a favorite and I don’t have a favorite song either.

Oshen Maratita

Hello, my name is Oshen J Maratita and I am a Junior at Homer Center Jr/Sr High School. I am a member of the newspaper and media/production of news and information at Homer-Center for the students and community. I am a student-athlete who participates in football and swimming. I enjoy the school and the community Homer Center has which makes my job and responsibilities more important and enjoyable. I am also a student who likes participating in activities at school as well as community activities in which I also report or help to gather information so that our team and media group at Homer Center can get the information and news out to the community as fast as we can with interesting stories. I also enjoy sports of all kinds which I specialize on and report on mostly. If you are a student at Homer you might know me as the ¨sports guy¨ who gives updates on sports in the morning announcements which is a huge privilege and is so fun to do. Being a member of the media team at Homer is a huge honor and is something that is enjoyable. You can really learn a lot of skills that are technical and resourceful which can be very helpful in life.

Thank You so much for reading about me and who I am as a person in the media group at Homer-Center Jr/Sr high school.
