Since my childhood, art has been an important aspect of my life, it played a large role in shaping who I am. While searching for careers in the corporate world that involve my childhood interest, I stumbled across the idea of color theory/psychology. It is the study of hues as determinants of human behavior. My quest to find a career, within the business world, that peaked my interests has lead to the question, “how does the color scheme of a product affect a person’s willingness to purchase said product?” The effects of color in the world of business go beyond simply packaging. Certain companies choose their color scheme for more than simply aesthetic, color has much more of an impact on human psyche than we can imagine.
