In order to be aware of your surroundings and current events in your community, it is necessary to communicate with those around you. Communication is simple. For the purpose of this academic research, the question ‘How does the role of social platforms impact organizations such as Hsnega?’ was sought to be answered. Initially, I believed that social media could only impact the effectiveness of communication, however, through research and experience, it became very evident that social media has more impact than meets the eye. My research affected me in a manner that allowed me to further understand why it is essential for organizations to engage in social media to be successful. I hope to further my research outside of HSNEGA someday.
