Almost everything we use today is mass produced, from the computer you may be reading this on to the water bottle you carry around. How is it then, that all of our everyday products are so available? It all winds down to how efficient the factory making the product is. My research finds what components help make a factory more efficient. Managing inputs, orders, output, variation, etc. The main point to take is that every product is different, which makes every factory that produces goods different. All of them will specialize to their product, but still follow general guidelines to keep the factory running smoothly. For example: all companies need to have good communication and tracking of the entire production process. Without key components like these, no company can function in an orderly, cost effective manner.
